Delete your SpeakUp Gym account
Effective 5 October 2026
You can delete your SpeakUp Gym account at any time, from the app, from the website, or by asking us. Deleting is permanent: your profile, progress and gems go, and the account can never be signed into again.
1. In the app (Android and iPhone)
- Open SpeakUp Gym and sign in.
- Go to Profile, then System Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.
2. On the website
Sign in at speakupgym.com, open Settings and choose Delete account at the bottom of the page.
3. By email
If you cannot sign in, email hello@speakupgym.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We confirm it is you, then delete the account within 30 days.
4. What is deleted and what is kept

| Messages you sent in practice rooms | Emptied straight away |
| Progress and streaks | Reset to zero and taken off every leaderboard |
| Gems and avatar frames | Can no longer be used by anyone |
| Your own recordings | Deleted automatically within 30 days |
| Sessions and ratings shared with a partner | Kept without your name, because they are also your partner's record |
| Payment and subscription records | Kept as long as accounting and tax law require |
| Security logs | Kept for investigation, not linked to a profile |
| Speaking Timeline clips | Not yet removed automatically: email us and we remove them by hand |
Deleting your account does not cancel or refund a plan by itself. Plans are managed on the website; see the Terms of Service for refunds and the Privacy Policy for everything we collect and why.
